About Bullion -TOU

The base metal - or color - of the ring greatly determines the impression it gives.

Since it comes into contact with the skin, I want to be particular about my decision.

This time, we will introduce the base metals used in KARAFURU's "TOU" ring.

Pt950 Hard Platinum

Platinum, also known as white gold, is the most popular material in Japan.

The beautiful, elegant, white platinum is simple and easy to wear for both men and women.

It is a perfect material for wedding rings as it is highly durable, rust-resistant, and hardly changes color over time.

PT950 means 95% platinum.

Platinum is originally a soft material, so the remaining 5% is mixed with palladium and ruthenium to increase its hardness and create hard platinum.

Many of you may have had your parents' wedding rings made of platinum as well.

It's a coveted material.

18k Yellow Gold

Gold has been used for ornaments and currency since ancient times, and is said to have "eternal brilliance." Generally speaking, gold refers to yellow gold. It goes well with the skin of Japanese people and gives a glamorous impression.

As with platinum, the higher the purity the lower its strength, so 25% copper or silver is mixed into K18 (75% purity) to increase its strength.

It is resistant to rust when used daily, and although there is a slight change in color over time (slightly darkening), it is a very minor change that is not noticeable unless compared to other products.

In Europe and the United States, it is a more popular material than platinum, and has a sense of luxury and exclusivity.

18k pink gold

Pink gold has a beautiful pale pink color and is popular among women for its cuteness.

It blends well with the skin and gives a more subdued impression than yellow gold. The pink color comes from the high proportion of copper mixed into the gold. Copper is hard and is the hardest and most durable material available at KARAFURU. The color may become a little dull over time, but with proper maintenance it can be restored to its original color to some extent.

Also, please be careful as discoloration may occur when bathing in a hot spring or sweating.

The soft pink color is reminiscent of a loving married life.

K18 Sakura Gold

Sakura gold has a more subdued hue than pink gold.

The subtle cherry blossom-like shimmering color creates an air of elegance and dignity.

It's a stylish color that changes expression slightly depending on how the light hits it.

The color changes over time is about the same as yellow gold.

K18 champagne gold

Champagne gold is a slightly lighter color than yellow gold.

Although it is glamorous, the calm, soft colors give off an air of adult ease and sophistication.

It's a color that will gently accompany you throughout your daily life.

The color changes over time is about the same as yellow gold.

18k White Gold

It has a dull color similar to greige and is popular among men.

The color is a combination of platinum and 18K yellow gold, and although it is called white, it is not actually whitish.

It has an aura of modesty yet gentleness.

The color changes over time is about the same as yellow gold.

For those who don't want to limit themselves to one metal, we recommend a combination.

Platinum and gold, platinum and pink gold are common combinations. KARAFURU also offers combination rings that allow you to enjoy two materials depending on your outfit or mood of the day.

Furthermore, all of the bullion sold by KARAFURU introduced here does not contain nickel.
