About Milgrain

The metal is hammered one bead at a time using a tool called a mill chisel with a rounded, concave tip. The distinctive feature of KARAFURU's millegrain is that the beaded grains are then forcefully rolled into a round shape at the end. This process requires time, skill, and force, and the roundness and shine of the grains are completely different from millegrain made by machine. This is a technique that is often seen in antique jewelry.

Custom made Milgrain

You can put it in a setting, on the top or bottom, or even just put one in the center to create a classy and gorgeous ring. It goes well with Japanese engraving and melee diamonds, so enjoy making your ring by combining different techniques.
